Хатхор (Хатор)
Богиня неба. Ее имя буквально означает “дом Гора” и представляет собой иероглиф в виде квадрата с изображением сокола посередине. Хатхор чаще всего изображалась в виде прекрасной женщины в характерном парике с закрученными спиралью косами и коровьими ушами, а также с символическим изображением храма на голове. Иногда у нее на голове изображались, также как у Исиды, - коровьи рога с диском солнца посередине. Иногда Хатхор изображалась в виде божественной коровы с солнечным диском на голове. В Древнем Египте ассоциировалась с утренней и вечерней звездой, считалась матерью солнца. Одна из самых древних богинь египетского пантеона. Египтяне считали, что солнечный Бог покоится на ее груди, ночью он заключен в ее теле, а утром всякий раз рождается заново. Хатхор почитали во всем Древнем Египте (и особенно в городе Дендера) как богиню любви, радости и веселья, а также покровительницу танца и музыки. Ее культ был связан с женщинами, цветами, красотой, искусствами, браком и семьей, процветанием и пьянящими напитками. Также богиня Хатхор была защитницей некрополей. Вместе с тем богиня Хатхор имела гневную форму в виде львицы Сехмет, владычицы эпидемий и стихийных бедствий. Культ этой богини был связан с ее умиротворением с помощью танцев, игры на музыкальных инструментах, употреблением пива и вина.

Russian artist based in in St-Petersburg, Working in oil painting and a rare ancient technique of cloisonne - hot enamel on copper.
In his works he uses the symbols of ancient cultures, sacral heomethry, eastern ornaments (especially Turkish and Byzantium), the sufi symbolic, early Christian symbols, etc.
Hot enamel keeps its colors for centuries, it`s the one of the most long-lasting techniques of applied arts.

Hathor
Goddess of heaven. Her name literally means "house of Horus" and is a hieroglyph in the form of a square with the image of a Falcon in the middle. Hathor was most often depicted as a beautiful woman in a characteristic wig with spiral braids and cow ears, and with a symbolic image of a temple or a musical instrument "Sistrum" on her head. Sometimes on her head were depicted, as well as Isis - cow horns with a disk of the sun in the middle. Sometimes Hathor was depicted as a divine cow with a solar disk on her head. In Ancient Egypt it was associated with the morning and evening star and was considered the mother of the sun. One of the most ancient goddesses Egyptian Pantheon. The Egyptians believed that the sun God rests on her breast, at night he is enclosed in her body, and in the morning every time born again. Hathor was revered throughout Ancient Egypt (and especially in the city of Dendera) as the goddess of love, joy and fun, as well as the patroness of dance and music.
