Вставки - стекло (богемские торговые бусины).

Weight of the both - 82 g. (2,3 Oz)

Similar pendants were made for the cutting of the female costumes. They were sewn in rows on his chest. In poor families such pendants were merely sheets of metal round or pear-shaped, almost without ornament. But for wealthy families such pendants were decorated with delicate serrated carving, engraving, gilding and carnelian inserts.
In the beliefs of pre-Islamic Central Asia carnelian was considered a carrier of the power of sunlight, with magical powers, able to keep alive t death and disease, happiness and peace.
